  1. Select the "TYPE" of seat, then the "SECTOR" and the "DAY"

    • You also have to select "OPTIONS" in case you have selected "COVERED BOX" or "OPEN BOX" for "TYPE".

    • Make sure you have selected each item properly or else you won't be able to proceed to the following item.

  2. Next insert the amount of seats in "QTY".

  3. Click the "ADD" button. The "CART" will open.

  1. After "CART" opening you should confirm the amount in the "QTY" (quantity) box.

    • You can change it if you wish.

    • If you wish to exclude it from your purchase, just press "0" (without quotation marks).

issues about tickets

VOUCHERS OF TICKETS

Although tickets are allocated very early by the authorities (RIOTUR and LIESA), at the first moment only vouchers are issued to agencies and applicants. These vouchers are later exchanged for the actual magnetic tickets, usually one week before the Carnival. This is for security reasons and to avoid fraud.

Tickets can be delivered within Rio as soon as they become available.

CONDITIONS OF USAGE

  • You can use your ticket only once

  • Your ticket is valid only to a specific sector

  • You can buy tickets for any of the Samba Parade nights separately

  • Prices include Delivery with special courier as required

about delivery

THREE TYPES OF DELIVERY: STANDARD, COLLECTING AT OUR OFFICE AND SPECIAL DELIVERY

We practice 3 types of delivery as follows:

  • STANDARD DELIVERY: ONLY TO AN APPOINTED ADDRESS IN RIO, which can be a hotel, a hostel or another type of tourist accommodation, a home address or a ship stationed at Rio's harbor; no delivery tax as long as the address is appointed by FEBRUARY 13th.

  • CLIENT COLLECTING TICKETS AND/OR COSTUMES AT OUR OFFICE IN SANTA TERESA NEIGHBORHOOD BY APPOINTMENT

  • SPECIAL DELIVERY FOR OFF-RIO OR OFF-DEADLINES, in which case we charge a minimum fee of US$15,00, depending on the distance

In any case you will have to inform us of your choice.

DELIVERY DATES: STARTING ON FEBRUARY 19TH

We will deliver your tickets to your appointed address in Rio, between February 19th and 23rd, 2009. We will also deliver tickets to all ships on February 22nd and 23rd. If you've ordered tickets only for Champion's Saturday, they will be delivered on February 27th and 28th.

HOW TO INFORM US ABOUT YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS IN RIO

Delivery address registration is already available on the site (48 hours after the purchase). Notice that you MUST have this address by February 13th, 2009, or else we'll have to charge you a special delivery fee of US$15.00.

You can also choose to collect your tickets at our office in Santa Teresa. In that case you will also have to inform us in advance.

WHY TICKETS ARE DELIVERED ONLY IN RIO AND SO NEXT TO THE CARNIVAL

To avoid frauds and tickets forgery, LIESA (Liga Independente das Escolas de Samba), the organizing body of the event, has determined that the actual tickets are to be available only a few days prior to the Carnival (one week, usually). Tickets sales season in fact start as early as the first weeks of December and the best tickets sell out within hours. LIESA supplies the buyer with a voucher, that is, a legal receipt that is exchanged for the actual ticket at an established date the week before the event.
