Rio de Janeiro will live 2010 Carnival's climate from December 6th, when the technique rehearsals season of the Samba Schools from Special and Access Groups begins.

Jorge Castanheira, LIESA's president, announced that each School from the Special will rehearse twice, and from the Access, once. He also explained that the rehearsals will happen on Saturday and Sunday evenings, avoiding, this way, traffic problems on Friday evenings.

So far, Imperatriz will be the only one to rehearse on a Friday, on January 8th, at 9 p.m. According to Elmo, eventual rehearses like this may happen. The Grandstands will remain open to public, with the guarantee of clean bathrooms and safety around the Avenue.

The "Pagode da Marquês", with the presentation of MPB stars, will close the schedule of Sundays, with shows on the stage set in front of Sector 3. The rehearsals season will end on February 7th, one week before the official parades.
